COACHING& MENTORING.png

One to One Tailored Learning

Taking on a new management role or greater responsibility? Leading your team through change? Need to find more effective ways to work with ‘challenging’ colleagues? Or are you looking to make the most of a new opportunity at work?

I’ve coached individuals through these situations and a wide range of others. My background in Learning & Development allows me to bring relevant theory such as Myers-Briggs into the session. This is coupled with a supportive, pragmatic approach building on my experience of front line operational roles.

Sessions typically last for 1.5 hours, one off or regular and can be face to face, Skype or by phone to fit around your commitments.

I am an ILM Level 5 Qualified Coach and follow the Ashridge Code of Conduct in my coaching - you can download this here.

"Richard has coached me through all sorts of different stages in my career such as maternity leave, returning to work, internal promotion and managing a team for the first time. He helps me see a problem or situation from a different angle and will always have learning tools, articles or ideas for me to go away and think about" Alex Cameron, Senior Philanthropy Manager

"Coaching with Richard has really helped me to take some time out of busy work activities to focus on the bigger picture. His approach and style put me at ease. By effective questioning and listening he is able to help me get a rich and valuable insight into challenges I have been facing. Problem solving using best practise, theoretical research and real life examples have helped me strengthen ways of working and what I deliver. I cannot recommend him enough". Sam Allen, Co-Production Manager
